I had spent many great times vsiting with Larry. Most were growing up at grandma, and grandpa Gonzales's. I remember always asking them when are Joyce, and Larry coming up next. I was always happy to see them, and play cards, or just chat, and have a good time. Larry always had something interesting to talk about. I had admired him for being so full of knowledge. One of my faorite memories with him was when Larry, my grandpa and I went crawdad fishing. I remember he, and grandpa holding them for me because I thought they would bite. The last time I visited him he showed me the picture of the three of us with the crawdads we caught. I'll miss you Larry. Joyce, Kim, Craig, Gary and Bryan My thoughts and prayers are with you. I love you guys, and I'm thankful that he is at peace now. God Bless you Corey

Larry, You were very special to me. You helped me in so many ways and I loved spending time with you and sharing all your information about the stocks and your ROSES! You will always be remembered in my yard with the roses you planted and in my heart. I love you so much and will miss you dearly.

Larry has been a part of my life since I was an infant. I always looked forward to seeing Joycie and him at every family get together which was quite often as I was growing up. Our family is a tight knit clan that looks for any excuse to get together. Larry always had a smile on his face and a topic to discuss. He was quite the conversationalist and he always knew the best directions to get to anywhere in California!!! Larry always brought a smile to my dad's face and later on to my husband, Dennis's face. There was just something extra special about Larry. He definitely had a unique and very special place in our family. Our family get togethers will never be the same without him. I'll always admire Larry for his work ethics and the sense of pride that he took in every project that he undertook. Larry's carpentry skills are unmatched because each of his pieces of work were completed with so much TLC. His oranges from his orange tree are always the sweetest and his roses are always the most fragrant. He had a golden touch. I also admire him for how much he loved Joycie, Kimmie, Roxie, Craig, and all of his grandsons. It was obvious to everyone how much he loved his family. Larry, there is no one else like you. You are truly missed by all of us that knew you and loved you.

Larry was a self made man, nothing in his life was given to him. He maximized every opportunity and worked hard to better himself. This is a man that got up every morning at 4 AM to see what pork futures were doing so that he could place smart trades. In his late 60's bought a computer and self taught himself how to use it. His world revolved around his family he made every sacrifice to provide for them. Into his later days he worried about them worrying about him and that everything would be taken care of. We had a special connection - and shared many wonderful times together. We golfed together, played cards as a couple together, and shared his hobbies of wood working, gardening, dabbling in stocks. What a guy, he has left a big hole in life that can't be filled by another. I will truly miss him. He is now with his god son and my son Trevor which is also another special connection. I'm so pleased that he is free of all the pain and suffering that he experienced due to the disease, and God got a hell of a wood worker out of the deal. Yes, Larry I'm late for the 1st tee, but I will catch you on the back nine. I hope it isn't laddies day. Tom

I didnt know larry as long as the immediate family but he always made me feel at home and welcome. Larry would to talk story and always had a colorful slant on everthing. I mean everthing! Conversation with him was never dull and empty.(just mention Governor Arnold for a real show stopper)I admired his energy and lust for life. Im so forturnate that i had the pleasure to get to know a small part of larry in my lifetime. When Kim and i departed from a recent visit in August Larry had given us one of his hand crafted wooden hanging Spiral twirls.Upon arriving home we hung it in the most perfectly awkard place that strategicly worked for its aesthetic placement. Hanging just a tad to low, its almost impossible not to hit your head on it everytime you walk pass it. Needless to say Larry, well be thinking of you every day!
