Don was a very kind, even tempered, easy going guy. He was always good to me, even after I left the family, as was Pat. Even though he is in a better place and finally out of pain, Don will be missed.

Dear Family, When I picture Don I always see a smile on his face and hear his little chuckle. He was a great friend to my dad Clarence, he really was more like a brother. I will charish his love for all of you and the concern he felt for my family and I. My fond memory I'd like to share is when I was in high school back in 1979-1980 I put a basketball team together with the city of Lodi parks & recreation dept. but I needed a couch! thats where my dad and Don came in. He and my dad didn't jump on the chance so I had to talk both of them into it. I guess couching a bunch of teenage girls wasn't something they'd always dreamed of. The team consisted of myself, Tina and I think Elaine along with bunch of our friends. I remember the first game well because I reinjured my knee in the 2nd quarter and my dad & Don had to carry me off the floor because I could'nt walk (boy they were strong). Unfortunately I became a spectator the rest of the season, but they stuck it out. I will always hold that dear to my heart, the year Don & Clarence couched the girls. I pray for the whole family and all the many friends Don was surrounded by during his life. I especially pray in thanks that Pat was placed in Don's life, I witnessed the love & care she gave to him during the last couple years. Gods love truely shinned through her as she gave the best gift of all to Don "LOVE". My God bless all who were a part of Don's life with peace, Love & understanding. Don we will see you later in Gods garden, I'm sure his garden is just as great as your Idaho Resort. ****************************** Love Yvette

Pat, Kathy, Tina, Donnie & Elaine: What a beautiful husband and father God blessed you with! There is a part of Don in each and every one of you... just knowing that will give you so much peace and happiness in the days/weeks/months to come. Be proud of the piece of your husband/dad that is now a part of your personality/character. It's so true that our loved ones are always with us...they really do live on forever, all around us, you just have to open your heart and embrace it. Pat, what a wonderful, beautiful husband you had to be able to share 37+ years with. Kathy, Tina, Donnie & Elaine: Wow! I can't believe how much of your father you all have in you.... his warm, friendly, loving disposition.... you all have a part of that... How blessed and fortunate you were to have such a beautiful human being as your father. Donnie: I wish I could have spent more time with you and your beautiful wife and adorable little girls. I just couldn't hug you enough...I wanted you to feel my love and support for what you're going through....please email or call me anytime. Elaine: I didn't even get to hug you sweetheart. I pray for you and the rest of your family as you go through the days ahead. Rick did a wonderful job sharing Don's life with those of us at the funeral service. I always felt so loved by your Dad. Having him always there at the end of the street ready to pick Tina and I up from practice or a game as we played on the Tokay Tigers softball team...how he loved and supported our efforts. I will miss his warm, friendly smile at our family functions, but I will forever keep him close in my heart. All of you are in my prayers. Shirley

My deepest sympathies to the Fehling family. I recall with pleasure the days growing up with Don Jr., Tina, & Elaine in the Morada neighborhood. I played a lot of baseball growing up and Don was always there as a strong role model , coach , and even occasional "Taxi".As you grow older, the appreciation for those who were a part of your youth grow as well. I'm sure Don will be missed by many. God Bless, Jeff

Pat, I was so shocked to read of Don's passing. Don and I worked together for many years in Lodi. Don was such a nice man, so enjoyable and pleasant to be around. I have many very fond memories of our time together. Please accept our LOVE at this time of sorrow. Les and Bettie
