Obituary of Virginia Hintz

Mrs. Virginia Mae Hintz of Lockeford and former resident of Victor passed away Monday June 27, 2005 at her residence at the age of 84. Mrs. Hintz was born October 16, 1920 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Jesse and Annie Snell. Mrs. Hintz was the eldest of 6 children. Mrs. Hintz worked for Tri-Valley Cannery in Lodi and other local canneries for 36 years before retiring in 1982. Mrs. Hintz was an reader and enjoyed nature and the outdoors; camping, fishing, gardening, as well as, sewing, canning and painting. She will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and mostly for her generosity with her time and helping others. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by 1 son, George Thomas Hintz and wife Sharon Jess of Lockeford, 3 daughters, Lucinda Browning of Redwood City, Ann Ziemann and husband Milton of Stockton; Sandra Bunda of Stockton; 2 brothers, John Snell Marked Tree, Arkansas; Thomas Snell of Harrisburg, Arkansas; 1 sister, Louise Blaylock of Marked Tree, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years George G. Hintz in 2002, 2 brothers, Charles and Fritz Snell. A graveside service will be held Friday July 1, 2005 11:00 am at the Lodi Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday 12:00 ? 8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
