Mr. Rodrigo Nunez of Lodi passed away in Sacramento on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the age of 50. Mr. Nunez was born in the Philippines on October 16, 1954 to Deogracias and Leonora Nunez. He moved to the United States in 1972, settling in the Bay Area. On August 7, 1976, he married Eleanor Maghanoy. They moved to Lodi in 1991. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 26 years as a mail handler. He enjoyed fishing, camping and Barbeques with his family, and he especially enjoyed working with computers. Mr. Nunez was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor Nunez of Lodi; children, Eileen Nunez of Lodi, Rodrigo (wife, Krystal) Rodney Nunez, Jr. of Lodi and Roderick Rodel Nunez of Tracy; sister, Aurora Parungao of Daly City; brothers, Arturo Nunez of San Mateo, Fredie Nunez of San Jose, Rizalito Nunez of San Francisco, Leonil Nunez of Elk Grove, and Armenio Nunez of Union City. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Rodolfo Nunez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church with committal to immediately follow. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said on Thursday at 7:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
