Obituary of Edith Sarah Vernon

Edith Sarah Vernon of Lockeford passed away in Lockeford on August 5, 2005 at the age of 57. Mrs. Vernon was born in Seattle, WA on October 10, 1947 to Jay and Alta Carlson. She eventually moved to California, settling in Salinas for 17 years. She then moved to San Jose for 15 years, finally settling in Lockeford in 1999. Edith enjoyed singing, arts and crafts and painting ceramics. She loved her dogs, but most importantly, she loved her family. She will be dearly missed. Mrs. Vernon is survived by her husband, Lloyd Vernon of Lockeford; children, Marjorie (John) Eades of Brentwood, Corina ( Anthony) Tringale of Salinas, and James(Tina) Baker of Lockeford; nine grandchildren, Christopher, Bryan, Kevin Eades, Amanda Koppel, Jessica and Sierra Tringale, Erica Weill, Joshua and Christa Reeder. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Brown and sister, Arlene Locke. There will be a private family memorial service, and the committal will be private at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Salinas. There is no visitation.
