Obituary of Elsie Jane Spagnola

Elsie Jane Spagnola of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 73 on August 8, 2005. Mrs. Spagnola was born in Maysville, Arkansas on May 30, 1932 to John and Elinor Durham. They moved to California when she was a young child. She has lived in the Lodi area for at least 65 years. She married Sam Spagnola on June 23, 1978 in Lodi. Elsie was the owner/operator of Exotic Birds of Eden for 30 years. She enjoyed birds, bead work, fishing, gardening, both flowers and vegetables. She cherished her family, and she will be dearly missed. Mrs. Spagnola is survived by her husband, Sam Spagnola of Lodi; children, John (wife, Diane) Drummond of Lodi, Nikki Kiedrowski of Lodi, Tim (wife, Veronica)Spagnola of Lodi; eleven grandchildren, Jason Drummond, Jessica Sotelo, John, Eli, Noah and Ezra Kiedrowski, Tim, Mike, Derrick Spagnola, Victoria and Gabrielle Spagnola; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Durham in 1975. A chapel service will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will be private. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, continuing Friday until the service begins.
