Corky was one of the most mellow and fun loving people we knew. He was always so accomodating to everyone. For all of the fun times we had during special occasions and we knew whenever there was a BBQ, someone would step in for Corky and take over the "coals" as this was not his most favorite thing to do. We thank you for inviting both of us and our dog "Bongo" to all of those BBQ's and swim parties. We always had a great time! Corky was always at the top of everyone's list to be at a gathering. From the "Barcycle" days to his High School renuions, we will always remember the welcome hugs and smiles. May you rest in peace my friend, for now you and your son can be together forever and catch up on each other's lives that we both cut so short. Our love forever...Debra and Randy and please say hello to Bongo for us!

To my uncle Corky, Yesterday we had to say goodbye and I will miss you until we meet again. I hope it will be a awesome adventure full of love from our buddy Dusty (your son) and your big brother Jimmy who you were never were blessed to meet. Mando thinks it will be like "Field of Dreams" and I will pray that it is even more exciting than that. We all love you and you know we will miss you so much. I want to tell you thank you for loving us all the way you do and we will forever keep you in our hearts and in our prayers every day of our lives left here on earth. Until we meet again. Our my love, Lori

We will always remember Corky as a loving,funny,fun-loving guy.I will always remember the day Corky,Chuck Wagner, and I walked the trail from Big Trees main campground to the river and I believe we laughed the whole way. This was because of Corky's great sense of humor,we were talking and joking the full extent of the hike.Kathi and I will always have an empty space in our hearts with Corky moving on to the other side to join Dusty.God bless brother.

We came to know Corky thru his son "Dusty". Our daughter Fern went to school with Dusty for many years, was in the special olympics together. When Fern was in bluebirds, Corky invited the girls over to the firestation where he worked for a tour. I have a picture of Corky holding Fern and putting on his fireman boots. Of course the boots were almost as big as Fern. Then he let the girls actually get on the fire engine. In Fern's case he got on the fire engine and we handed Fern to him. A wonderful man, and a dear friend. God Bless you Corky and your family.

some one so dear to me, seems now he's so far away. he held me high so many times, and i let him fall astray. a man who knows no evil, a hero to all who knows his name, has gone without a word. lifes the harshest emotional game. this father of mine, has made me so so strong. I will not forget his love, which extended so very long. i know his pain is gone, but i still grieve for the fact, that this super hero man, had to leave so fast. still i am happy, no more pain and suffering, for he is free, no body of imprisoning. Corky.... I love u allways! I wil miss u 4ever, dont ever forget how much u mean to me! U were my father allways... my best friend when i had few, someone to care for me when there was no one else who could help. u allways thought out of unselfishness, to help those who needed it. now ur time has come... I will see u one day... until then, dont have too much fun without me!! I love u soooo much... allways. Your son, Matthew Stone!!!

Even though we have not seen Corky as much in the past few years, that close friendship we shared was always there. When our girls were young, we were together a lot. I am sure that Michelle and Julie felt that was their second home. Corky was always one of the "big" kids!! He would make Michelle, Julie and Dusty laugh and laugh!! We did so many things together and then as time went on and the kids got older, we sort of drifted apart, but never lost touch. He was very special to us and we feel sad that we were not able to say "good-bye". But, we know he is now truly happy again because he is with Dusty! We love you and will miss you!!

Whenever you think of fun and party, Corky was the icon. He would get the party going with his fun-loving attitude...and there were many of parties...especially working together at Dobler's ski shop way back when and the gang's Apr ski parties. He was always the life of the party and I was sad to hear he has gone. I will always remember his great smile and how he enjoyed life. I am sure he has left a great impression on everyone's lives he has touched. May you rest in peace Corky. Peace be with you...Gale
