Obituary of George Johnson

Mr. George "Ron" Johnson of Lodi passed away Sunday September 4, 2005 in Stockton at the age of 58. Mr. Johnson was born September 5, 1947 to George and Marilyn Johnson. Ron owned and operated H.E.Y.O. Painting Co. in Lodi and Johnson Painting Co. in Anchorage, Alaska for many Years. He was a member of the CA State License Board and the Moose Lodge of Lodi and was a very active and devoted volunteer for the San Joaquin County N.A. Programs, including the California Youth Authority in Stockton, San Joaquin County Recovery House Stockton San Joaquin County Jail and He will be best remembered for his willingness to help others and for his great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his mother Marilyn Johnson of Lodi; 1 sister Jan Johnson-Pestana and husband Ed of Clements; 1 nephew Eddie Pestana of Clements; 1 son Marty Seefried of Lodi. He was preceded in death by his father George W. Johnson in 1990. A chapel service will be held Saturday September 10, 2005, 2:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by a private interment. Visitation will be held Friday 12:00 - 8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
