Gladys was a strong and loving person. Dedicated to her family and work. She was a great bowler and she crocheted many beautiful quilts that she gave to lots of people. I am lucky enough to still have one. She had a great sense of humor, smile and laugh. Though I haven't seen her in many years, I have thought of her often. I know she will be missed by many. She will always be of the women I think of when I hear someone around me speak of a women they will never forget. May she walk hand and hand with Jesus.

Gladys was a good neighbor for many years. But more then that she was so good to my children. She took my son, Peter to the lake with them, and I never worried about him. She used to tell me if he ever needed any medical attention, from the time he got in her car, until he was back home she considered him one of her own, and nobody had better ever refuse to give him medical attention. And I knew she meant it...So I knew he was always safe with the her family. I'm sure Peter remembers those times even now.Him and Jerry have remained good friends to this day. She will be missed.

Mom, I have experienced your unselfish love first hand. I have seen the love you have shared among all your children, and anyone involved in your world. I always was amazed at how easily you could comfort me or any of your siblings. I have also known your love for bowling. The joy you showed when you spoke of the game and all your friends involved. I remember when you took us with you to share your experience in the game when we were young, How patient you were to teach us, your generosity to everyone. I remember when many of my friends had families that were torn apart which made me appreciate that our family was as solid as a rock. This taught us great morals and values. I know you were never a very religious person, But you never discouraged us when we wanted to experience church. I thank you for everything you have ever done for us. I am blessed to have had the pleasure of having you with us and caring for you the last couple of months since your illness began. Thanks for the penny you left for us to find that told me you were reunited with Dad. For anyone that knows the penny story will understand. I will always remember, I will always Love You. I Love You Mom. Your Son, Jerry

I remember spending the summer's with Grandma and Grandpa. We were never short of salami, cheese and plain Tortilla Chips. Oh and macaroni salad...We loved the summers we spent with them. She was a strong woman, down to the end, driving herself to the hospital. I will remember how she use to fall asleep on the floor all the time. She kept every photo I ever gave her...some I wished she lost. She never missed recoginzing a birthday or Christmas...These are the things I will remember about my Grandmother.

Mom, I miss you so much. You were a wonderful mother in law, more than I could ask for. We got close while you where staying with us the last 2 months of your life. I miss coming home for lunch and watching soaps together and going out to dinner. I still look for you to come down the hallway in the morning. Sandy, the cat, looks for you all the time too. Glad she was here for you during the daytime while we were at work. I think about you everyday and always will. I will think of something I want to tell you but your not there, but I still do anyway. Thank you for the penny that I found by the couch you use to sit on. Your now in heaven with Dad and your mother and will look down on us with a smile. You will be in our thoughts and heart forever.
