I first met Vicky in 1985 in what we lovingly referred to as "dental hygiene boot camp." Her humor helped us all get through those stressful couple of years together. I have many memories of the fun, silly things we did during our youth, not the least of which was watching Vicky doing her best rendition of the Mary Jane Girl's "In Our House" at a lip-synch contest! Full of life is the best way that I can describe Vicky. As the years have passed we had not been in close contact save for occasional dental hygiene get-togethers, but I have always considered Vicky to be a great friend. The world has never known a better set of dimples; what a smile! My heart goes out to Bob, John, loved ones and extended church family.

As long as I've known Don, Vicky has been living with cancer. Her father has shared with his friends her valiant battle with this horrible disease. We have all sent our prayers and strength to her through him. Our thoughts and prayers are now with Don, his son-in-law and grandson. Vicky's shining light will guide you for all your remaining days. Please call on Frank and me if there is anything we can do to ease your sorrow. God Bless you all, Terry Carter-Danziger and Franklin Danziger, M.D.

Oh how hard it is to be without our dear Vicky here right now. Having been with her the last 18 years, I had the priviledge to watch her "grow" from the college girl into the mature mother/wife of today. And what fun it was to share all her adventures! I know so many people have been blessed by her life and her courageous fight but primarily by her spiritual walk. I hold tight to the knowledge that now Vicky has her complete body back and is watching over us now. She truely was an angel here and I'm so glad to have been able to share part of her life with you Bob and John. Now may God grant you some comfort and show you what Vicky saw through her faith. Loving thoughts and prayers, JULIE

I was privileged to meet Vicki thru another friend, Emily Cunha when she asked me to tell her friends about Juice Plus. Being a breast cancer survivor we felt a kinship from the beginning. Johnny too was an inspiration as he showed me how he could swallow his JP capsules. Hopefully you will see the importance of continuing on with the JP program. Nutriton is so important to our bodies when we go through hard times as both of you are. Our thoughts and prayers have been daily for your family and Judy our dear neighbor. We leave Sun. for a 2 week mission trip so are so sorry to miss Vicki's memorial. May God comfort be with you all. Sincerely, Virginia (and Don)Seibel

Bob and John, Words come with such difficulty at a time like this. I met Vicky when she first came to work for Frank. I was just a patient then, but grew to become a friend. My son Patrick was also a patient. I remember bringing him out to Lockeford one Christmas season when John was just walking. Patrick was about 6 then. He just thought your background was Disneyland and John was one of the characters. They had so much fun together that afternoon. Vicky was someone that we are all very proud of. Her strenght and courage will always be an inspiration to us. We pray that you are able to find peace in all of the wonderful memories that you have of her. My thoughts are with you. Marji

Rarely do we have the opportunity to encounter an angel here on earth, but I did the day I met Vicky. Our time together has been short but I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to know her. Vicky was being treated for a similar cancer as my mother so Vicky and I grew close. One day not long ago we were sharing feelings about life. I told her that one my fears was that when my mother was no longer here I would be an orphan, not having any siblings or children. We immediately agreed that I would unofficially adopt her as my little sister...Vicky was thrilled that she now had a big sister. As of November 17, 2005 not only is there one less angel here on earth, we lost a dear friend and I can say I lost a sister. I do know though, heaven is a brighter and happier place now that our angel Vicky has returned home.

Dear Vicky it seems like only yesterday that I first met you. Thank you for all you did helping me adjust to a new office. I looked forward to the days that you worked because I could always count on a Smile, a hug, a friendly word, and a helping hand. No matter how busy your schedule was you always took time to help me, of course with a big smile. Your are truly an Angel and I know you are with all of us right now. You are the braveous woman I've ever met, and your spirit and faith flowed from you always. Your care and compassion for everyone you loved was tremindous.I will miss you always. Bob and John my prayers are with you both, no words can ease your pain right now, but the fact that Vicky is in heaven with her Lord free of pain and beautiful watching over her family and loved ones is a comfort to me, and I pray in time it will be a comfort for you and John. Loving thoughts and prayers Connie

I was working with Vicky when she received the first phone call, telling her she had cancer. I remember that day so vividly. She hung up the phone and with the saddest look in her eyes said to me I have cancer. We hugged and cried. After that day I saw no more tears only a very courageous woman, determined to do what it takes to beat this thing. I am very saddened to learn of her losing that battle. The only comfort I can find at this time is knowing that God has a bigger plan for Vicky and it was no longer here on this earth. Bob and John, I can only say that in time it does get better and the pain does lesson some, but you will never forget the memories and the love that you all shared!! We are all better people for knowing and loving Vicky Durham. God Bless you all. Sincerely, Coral Sullivan

We were good friends growing up and I have great memories of this beautiful girl with the terrific smile and the gorgeous dimples (oh, we were all so jealous of those dimples!) Vicky, I am so sorry for your family. You were one of the sweetest people I've ever known, and you were that way from the time we were little girls. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Vicky, I truly believe that you can hear me. I know that you are totally happy and free of all worries. It still is so hard to believe that that you are not here. I get a big lump in my throat when I think about it. But I get secure in the fact that you are where you are. It is also comforting to know that you will be there when my time comes with your fantastic beautiful smile. We all can take comfort in knowing that you have gone home to God. I know that Bob will keep you always in Johns memory and heart. You have always been and will always be remembered and loved. Thank you for coming into my and my familiy's. life

To Vicky's Family: I was deeply saddened to hear about Vicky's passing. Although we didn't keep in touch much after high school, I will remember her quick wit and sunny smile; and think back to those days in 4th grade when we played softball (horribly, I might add) and formed our friendship. We went through watching a litter of Dachshunds being born to graduating from high school together. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Vicky, Though most of our visits were "scheduled" six months apart, I treasured that time nonetheless. It was always a treat to see each other at the gym or out shopping ... your smile was so infectious. You always had such courage and you gave me strength to cope with my own challenges. I will always admire you as a person and be thankful that you are an angel.

She was the bright and shining smile we looked forward to seeing during our visits. Her strength, her faith and her ability to care were boundless.
