Dear Aunt Elvira, Monica, Peter & Family Please accepte our greatest condolences for the passing of your husband and father. I am sorry to hear Uncle Hans was suffering with Cancer. It is not easy to watch a loved one go through this. I can kind of understand what your feelings and emotions are, as Andrew and I took care of his parents until their last days. His mom died of cancer. Was diagnosed and given two years to live. She made it 1 year, 11 months and 18 days. Andrew's father recently passed away (June 2005) from heart-ache and body deterioration. He kind of gave up after Marion his wife died. When the will to live goes, life comes to an end soon. I want you to know; I love you, and your family. It's a shame we haven't kept in touch better over the years. But circumstances do come up, and life gets in the way. I also have so many fond memories of when our family would come down to the farm for vacation. We really had a Wonderful time every visit. Like when I kicked Peter off the roll out couch. Or when I would comb Monica's hair for hours, and then drag her into her room, and make her crouch up under her desk where the chair would go, just to "hide-out". Then we all remember when my mom finally decided to go swimming in the pool. Remember she didn't like getting her hair wet?! Uncle Hans had a great game: it was watching "Two Hairs Fight". If you don't remember, he coaxed her into putting her face really close to the water, and then slapped his hand down causing a major, major spash. Of corse, moms weekly hairdo was KAPUT! Those are just some of the smiles that keep coming to my face when I think of Uncle Hans. I often think of how your family was viewed and how you viewd life and the world. You worked hard, had solid goals, and values, were persistant, didn't care what others saidand totally new how to go on a vacation. Thanks for sharring your hearts and lives with us. Our Love, Andrew & Erika Wagner
