Papa was the greatest grandpa ever. He was one in a million. There are not enough words to describe what I feel for him. I have never known a man like him, so giving, unselfish, caring, loving, and always willing to do what ever he had to do to take care of his family. I miss papa very much and love him with all my heart. I've spent the past several months doing everything I could for him and it is going to be really hard to go to the house and not be able to talk to him like we always did or hear him call for me when he found out I was there. Life is going to be very hard without him. I love you very much papa.

Dad rarely verbalized his feelings, but he showed us everyday how much he loved us. He dedicated his life to taking care of his wife and children. He asked very little of us, just to be good to others and look after each other. He lead by example, by being the giving kind hearted person that he was. There is no doubt that he was very proud of his family. There is no doubt that through the years we have truly pushed his tolerance to the edge and he never wavered. He saw people for who they were inside and not for some bad judgements in behavier. He is without a doubt the GREATEST man I have ever met. There is no way for me to say how much I will miss him.

Lou, in my eyes was a great man, he lived life simple, spoke soft, and his family was the world to him. (he worked hard to make sure they had food, housing, clothing) When it came to holiday's and his birthday he was simple, he did want you to spend money on him. He would rather have you spend the money on the kid's of the family.. The one thing I'll be grateful for is that he did not judge Steve, and I. And he was the one that helped Steve and I buy our first house. Lou will be missed alot. But I believe he'll be watching over the family from the heavens above, to guide them....... Casey

My father was a loving ?hands on dad.? Camping at the ocean, boy scouts, motorcycles -- he taught us to enjoy life, because as he would say "life is short." Dad had a lot of what I called Lou-isms: like, ?Talk is Cheap.? But my favorite has always been: ?If you have Family and Health, you have Everything.? He was most happy when he was spending time with the family (like this summer at Steve?s pool party), working (work was never a four-letter word to dad), and square dancing. He has always been the wind beneath my wings. No person is perfect, but he was as close as it gets. If dad doesn?t make it to Heaven -- no one makes it to Heaven. He was simply the most decent person I ever met.

Lou, We were related by the marriage of our son to your daughter. We shared grandchildren together. Nicole, Randy and Nathaniel, (your great grandson). We were lucky enough to share at you and Marvell's 50th wedding anniversary. You always managed to come to our aid almost immediately when we were having air conditioning problems. And you certainly were a big influence in our son, Randy's future with his line of work. Randy had a lot of respect and admiration for you. You will be missed.
