Dave was a great, funny guy - fun to tease and joke around with. He always had a smile on his face. I did a lot of work on his cases and always enjoyed working with him. My condolences to all his family, friends, and especially to RB. Dave will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I just wanted to say that I will always remember Dave and his family as being the friends next door whose door was always open to me. I spent a lot of time there. I hadn't talked to Dave since the last class re-union but he was always easy to speak to and we chatted about law enforcement kind of things when we had the opportunity. I will always have fond memories of him and I send my deepest sympathies to his family.

My deepest condolences to all Dave's family and friends and loved ones. Dave and his colleagues work in the same building as I do. Over the years we all got to know him as well as you can just by passing in the hall or in the garage. He would always stop and speak and always had a smile. Dave will be missed and again my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and loved ones.

My deepest condolences to Dave's family, friends, and Rosemarie. I remember Dave as a very nice man and an awesome FBI agent. A lot of people probably didn't know this, but Dave was also a suicide crisis intervention volunteer and it is unknown how many people he saved because of his desire to help people when they hit rock bottom. Hats off to you Dave, I'm gonna miss you man! God Bless You.

To those surviving members of Dave's family I would like to offer condolences on our loss. I have not seen Dave for many years as I worked with him in the Santa Ana RA and remember him as a hard-working individual who enjoyed his job. He was not afraid to undertake challenges and to offer to help others. I was one of the lucky recipients of his help. My wife and I pray the Lord would sustain you in your grief and bless you with His love.

My condolences go out to Dave's family and friends. Dave was one of the first agents I met when newly assigned to the Sacramento office in 1996. Over the years, when we ocassionally worked together, I always enjoyed talking with him. He was one of the most pleasant people to talk with and he had a sense of humor that was always a treat. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

That the good, die young is proven again by Dave?s early passing. He was a great guy by any standard and he will be missed by everyone who ever knew him. I had the pleasure to know of him in Los Angeles but then worked with him on the Unabom Task Force. He had a terrific sense of humor that made our time away from home easier. He worked hard, was very capable and helped jell agents from several agencies in to a team. Who can forget that grin of his that said, even if you were on the receiving end of it, something fun was coming. You could never get the best of him, but we enjoyed the best of him, all the time. My deepest sympathies to his family, and to RB with whom he was entering a new phase of life. I pray that the good memories of Dave sustain you through this difficult time. My own life will be emptier without him, but I am richer for having had him in it.

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this most difficult of times. I got to know Dave a few years ago just by seeing him in the hallways where I work. You see, we happen to work in the same office building. His office being just a couple of doors down from mine. It didn't take long that hello's were exchanged. Myself and my coworkers soon got to know him a little bit more when our file room was used to "stake out" the bank across the street for a few days. That is when his great personality and sence of humor where apparant and we knew that we could joke around and have some fun with the guys from the FBI office down the hall. I am honored to have known him, but wish I could have gotten to know him better. I will miss him, but will never forget him.

We were Friends... We were Roomates... You were my Best Man, and I yours... We grew older and started Familys, careers, and our lifes went in different directions. Last we talked, we planned on a fishing trip on my boat, on New Melones, but that day never came. When we meet again Friend, we will both have and make the time. May You Rest In Peace Until That Day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Until 2000, our office was straight across the hall from David's. Our staff spent today telling stories of the fun quips and stories that we shared with David. He is a true gentleman and compassionate person. He will be missed by all who knew him.

David and I were in New Agents Training class together in 1978 and both of us were assigned to Los Angeles as our first field office. He was a loyal and dedicated FBI employee and greatly assisted me in my quest to succesfully complete New Agents' training by running with me regularly on "Hoover Road". I last spoke to him in 2004 as I prepared to retire and was happy to hear of his new relationship. My condolences to his fiance , his father, sister and daughter. Respectfully, Andrea Colucci

Dave was a special person to me. We were in a Men's Bible Study together, We had joined with two other men from our church to form a core group fto start a Men's Ministry; He had a good sense of humor. I usually would try to get him to talk about his job duties or what he was investigating. He told me it wasn't anything like what you see from "Hollywood". He seemed to me like a very dedicated officer of the FBI. Reserved yet funny and joking in private circles. We were saddened when told that he and Patty would be leaving our church a few years ago. Life does go on. We crossed paths one day at the post office in town. We talked a while and caught up on old times and family stuff. We will miss him for sure. He is in a better place than down here on earth. We pray for the family amd friends to be strong during these painful days ahead as they seek comfort in each other and from Our God. May the Peace of God be upon us all.

To Dave's family, fiancee Rosemarie and particularly daughter Shelley. I was Dave's supervisor, co-worker and buddy at the Santa Ana RA. He was an accomplished investigator with few equals, had a unique sense of humor, proud of his military and FBI service, but prouder yet of Shelley. I usually jogged alone until Dave asked me if he could join me at 6am before work, 5 days a week. He always spoke of you, Shelley. God Bless You All. 'till we meet Dave again, Frank Calley

Although I have not seen you in many years, I have always held you in the highest regard. We were next door neighbors when I was young. You coached me in baseball and Judy babysat me. I have heard of your accomplishments as the years passed, and I am proud to say that I once knew you. God has taken a good man home well before his time. Rest in peace, my friend. My prayers are with you, Art, Judy and family.
