I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. Kiesz. I had the privilege of being one of his students at Washington School in the '50s. Respect, integrity, dedication, compassion and discipline are just a few words that come to mind when I think of that year. There is no doubt in my mind that he was the best teacher in my elementary school experience and for that I am grateful. His classroom was always a safe place to be. He will be missed, but certainly not be forgotten.
