Jack Edward Hodson of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 72 on February 7, 2006. Mr. Hodson was born in Ft. Wayne, IN to Ermal and Anna Hodson on October 7, 1933. He came to Cupertino, California in 1953 and eventually he settled in Lodi in 1968. He worked for the CHP as a highway patrolman for 17 years. He enjoyed target shooting, telling stories, and auto repair. He was devoted to his family, and he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife, Janet Hodson of Lodi; children, Jeff (Cindy) Hodson of Lodi, Julie (Bob) Ball of Woodbridge, Jeanie (Dan) Biskup of Lodi, Jackie (Dale) Taylor of Lodi; two step-daughters, Crystal ( Bob) Sharpe of IN and Michelle (Wayne) Newmann of CT; twelve grandchildren, Robert, Jaime, Sara, Christa, Stephanie, Robert, Jeffrey, Jordan, Samantha, Kaleb, Nicholas, and Mason; two great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Lily; brother, Jay Hodson of IN. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marybelle Simmerman. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park. There is no visitation.
