A very special Lady who brought her wonderful Italian smile and joy to all who knew her. The Class of 1949 was blessed with her presence, and now we are deeply saddened by her absence. To MIke and the Family, my most sincere condolences.

I knew Lisa from playing golf together in the Fore Tee Niners. Lisa was one of my favorite ladies to golf with - always upbeat and funny. She loved to walk those nine holes and have a good time. She always did an awesome job at choosing the gifts for the tournaments and I will treasure those even more now. I will miss seeing Lisa and talking about our latest "clothes find". My thoughts are with her loved ones.

Mike, Bob & Rita, My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and the Westbrook family. Many years have passed since we have been in direct contact, but I think of you all often. Lisa is now in the hands of our loving Lord. Remember: "But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired." Isaiah 40:31 Love and the peace of the Lord be with you all during this time of sorrow. Kris

Lisa Lapenta was the world's coolest grandma. She always dressed super cute and had a purse to match every outfit. I will never forget her hot pink leather jacket. I remember going over to her house to go swimming with Elise. She was always asking if we were hungry or if there was anything she could get us. She was so thoughtful. I remember driving all the way to Roseville with Elise to get her these specific jeans that she wanted. Going out to the berm will never be the same because I will never get to see her smile out there again. I loved going with Elise to the Tuxedo store and helping out. She would always slip us some money for lunch. Most importantly, Lisa would do absolutely anything for Elise (including getting her every purses ever made and making her chicken noodle soup). She was there at every event...drill, graduation, before every single dance. I could tell she wanted to be the best grandma in the entire world. She spoiled Elise so much. Lisa Lapenta was a wonderful person. I will miss her dearly.

I will never forget when the we went to Disneyland on a city of Lodi trip to Anaheim for a planning commission seminar. I chose to skip a meeting at her suggestion and of to Disneyland we went. She went on almost every ride. We had a great time. I will also miss her great cookies and pesto. I am glad I had a chance to be a friend of her for over 30 years.

As a student at St. Annes in the mid 60's, there was a very close sense of acquaintance within our congregation. The Lapenta/Westbrook children were part of that family so I have fond memories from early childhood, which included excellent mentoring from Lisa' sister Irma also. I was fortunate to be in Bob' wedding party many years ago and then it was some time later when i returned to my hometown after being away, that I took a job at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club. It was with much respect and admiration to have come back in contact with Lisa. She is by far, one of the classiest ladies I had the pleasure of being acquainted with and I will never forget her spunk! My condolonces and undying admiration to the entire Lapenta/Westbrook families. God Bless.
