I am the daughter of Lucy's uncle, the late Alford Dooley and his former wife, Maxine Dooley Wiley. I was a very small girl when Lucy and Hoot got married. I spent a lot of time with them then and remember what a good looking and fun-loving couple they were. Hoot was a big tease and Lucy was quieter, but had a good sense of humor. I loved them a lot. I moved away from Stockton when I got married and except for a few visits to see Lucy at Sears, I lost track of them both. I have such fond memories of our family get togethers in Kerman and Stockton years ago. I have thought of them often through the years and I am sorry we lost touch. My sincere condolences to her children and grand-children. I know you will really miss her. My mother also sends her best to you all.
