I will always remember Bob full of life, determined to enjoy life to the fullest and watch his family grow and expand as long as he could. He was loyal to his family, and I will be eternally grateful for his constant love for my children no matter how lost they got. He was always there for them, loving them and wanting to see them. He touched my mother's heart so deeply in this way. Bob could be frustrating at times to family and friends, but in the big scheme of things it is clear that his heart was in the right place, and his focus was on loving his family, and friends, and making friends family. Although not a religious man, Bob lived a biblical life, caring for widows, and men who had lost their father's or were estranged from their fathers. He mentored and loved them as his own sons. I will always remember him with a big smile and a sparkle in his eye as he would give me crushing hugs and ask "How's my chickadee?"
