Larry was always a pleasure to play golf with. He never took himself too seriously and he made everyone feel like a good friend. I will miss his easy-going style and how he teased Dominic.

Larry always will be a hero in my book. Once a Marine always a Marine. He fought for our country. I can remember Peter Galan (my brother) saying that Tia Hilda wrote Pete in Vietnam and told Pete where Larry was and he traveled 150 miles to an airport in Saigon to see Larry who had been up 24 hours building barracks but he still visited with Pete. I will always remember Larry's laugh, and smile. We all will truly miss our cousin. A true Marine.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I can remember a time when you came to my side when my brother passed. I am here for you should you need a shoulder! The memories you will carry are filled with laughter, tears, pain and joy. To have been able to share them together is a blessing. Remember "HE gives us no more, than we can bare". Your tears will dry and then your heart can begin to smile. You will always see Larry in your daughter and the grand kids too! La vida es corta... y no hay palabras, para lo que sientes. I've always known you to be a strong woman and deep in his in faith. You are surrounded by love, faith, family, strength and friends. Para siempre tu amiga, Victoria Marmolejo

I always try and trust that God has what is best for us in mind. But sometimes when cousins like Larry leave us so soon I sometimes wonder. But God knows what is best for us. Larry was the gentle giant to me. I will always remember tagging along with my older brother Peter and Larry and his brothers because when I got home, I always had lots and lots of candy in my pockets from them. I will miss Larry lots. But what I remember most is that Larry was respectful and kind to me. And that is how I will always remember him. Lots of love. Tina Emily and Len galan
