Coach and Mrs. Berg ~ I am so sorry for your loss of Susie. I only met her once at a baseball game at Edison in the 80s. I remember her smile the most.....proud of her Dad. Coach, I remember you talking about your family at school and you telling me that Suzie was going to college at Cal Poly.....and to this day, whenever I see a Cal Poly license plate frame, I think of her. :-) This sad time reminds me all the more how important it is to see and talk to those who I regard important to me...I will get by to see you...I promise!!! May the Lord give you strength each new day. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Love, Michelle

We met Sue several years ago when we moved into the house next to her in Woodbridge. Sue's outgoing personality and kind soul were a godsend to me being new to the area. We became great friends. Even though we have moved back to Minnesota, we kept in touch with long telephone conversations. She was alway postive even when things were not going well in her life. She never felt sorry for herself. She never said a bad word about anyone. She was a joy to be around and always was able to make others around her feel good. Sue was the best Mom I knew. She loved being home with her kids and making their days special. She has raised three very special children and was lucky to be part of such a loving family. Our hearts go out to Victor, Danny Ethan, Haley, Sue's parents and brother and sister in law.

I have very fond memories of Susie from our childhood. She was so creative and we always had such fun when we played.....barbies, made lemonade, made cookies, danced to music with her mom, played ping pong, played with clay from the river, went to the cabin and played in the snow. She grew up to be a beautiful lady but has always been so grown up. I am so sorry to hear about her passing and my heart goes out to her children, husband, parents, brother and the rest of her family. My prayers are that her family finds comfort in her place in heaven and the wonderful memories of Susie on this earth.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you all. We have very wonderful memories of wonderful times we shared back in the days. The Cal Poly parties, Snow skiing, water skiing, time spent in the spa just talking and laughing, celebrating the birth of our children, their birthdays and just the joy of watching them grow; those memories will be in our hearts forever. I will always remember Susie's smile. She had a kind heart and Danny, Ethan and Haley you were her world. I hope that all the wonderful memories can somehow comfort you during this time. Please know that we love you, and if you need anything, please do not hesitate to call us. May God's peace be with you all, and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Brad, Melinda and Troy Kissler

I didn't know Susan well, but met her at Animal Friends Connection adoptions a couple of times and she may have even fostered a dog for me several years ago I think. She was very kind and loved animals. I met her most recently last summer and had several phone conversations with her while I was on vacation and she was willing to foster a dog for me, but somehow it fell thru--not on her part, but on the other end. Anyway, I appreciated her willlingness to help and she was a very gracious lady. I am so saddened to hear cancer took her life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Donna Swinney

To all of Sue's loving and supportive family, Sue was a class act! In the time that we have known her she lived her life with grace, dignity, perserverance and kindness for others. What an example she was to those of us who were blessed to know her. The greatest example of who she was, was seen in the way she loved and cared for her children. In the midst of her own trials she was always concerned about how others were doing and never expressed self pity or resentment at her lot in life. We consider ourselves blessed to have witnessed the love, care and undying devotion exhibited by her family as they cared for her around the clock. As we prayed for her through the course of her illness, we will continue to pray for and support the family in the days ahead-just remember we are just around the corner. 2 Timothy 4 verses 7,8. With all our love..Mike and Debra

Dear Berg Family: My heart is sad to hear of the loss of Susie. I can't imagine not having that beautiful vibrant smile and firey red-haired personality on our earth. I have such wonderful memories of our college days of late night studying together and how we were both together at college events when we met our future husbands, Mike and my husband Rick. I was a bridesmade and Mike and Susie's wedding and what a beautiful day (even though there was no air conditioning in the church!) was celebrated. I know how proud Susie is of her three beautiful children and how profound this loss is for them. Remember to always let your mother's arms comfort you as she will always be with you. Susie is now free of pain and cradeld in God's arms. Our sympathies rest with those left on earth who will always miss her. Our Regards, The Logemann Family Pam, Rick, Katrina & Kristopher

Susie was "our" red-headed daughter. She grew up next door and we knew her from the day she was born. She was a delightful child, a warm and special adult, a great mother. We skied with her, watched her learn to water ski, and spent many happy hours with Sue and her family at home, at Tahoe, at Fly-In Acres. To Dan, Ethan, Haley, Victor, Vic and Gail: you know we don't have the words to express our sorrow over your great loss. Our prayers are with you. God Bless.... Alice and Bob
