Obituary of Diega Ruiz Pena

Diega Ruiz Pena of Lodi passed away on May 27, 2006 at the age of 82. Mrs. Pena was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on January 25, 1924 to Jesus and Maria Ruiz. They moved to Mexico when she was child. She and her family moved to Lodi in 1972. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and going to church, but her greatest love was her family and being with them. She retired from Pacific Coast Producers in 1984. Mrs. Pena was a member of Templo Getsemany. She is survived by her four children; Gloria Estrada of Mexico, Socorro Pena of Las Vegas, Gerardo Pena, Maria Pena and Edwviges Pena, all of Lodi; 28 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerardo Pena, son, Manuel Pena, two brothers and two sisters. Friends are invited to visit Wednesday at Lodi Funeral Home from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Templo Getsemany on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Committal will immediately follow.
