Our beloved son, Rocco Volentine Ferriera, was born May 13th 2006 at Lodi Memorial Hospital and died Friday, June 9th at U.C. Davis Children's Hospital of Congenital Heart Disease. Rocco endured three open heart surgeries and showed tremendous strength during his 29 days of life. Rocco is survived by his parents, Antony and Julie Ferreira, sister, Carignane Ferreira and a brother, Luca Ferreira of Acampo; grandparents, Bill and Sharron Ferreira of Acampo, Tom and Connie Barsby of Valley Springs, grandmother, Lillian Dollman of Buckhorn, grandmother, Sheri Barsby of Sacramento; great-grandmother, Clara Barsby of Lodi, great-grandmother, Arlene Alberg of Lodi, great-grandmother, Betty Georgie of Lodi, great-grandmother, Mildred Watts of Sacramento and great-great grandmother, Lily Johnson of Lodi. Mass of the Angels will be held on Friday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with reception to follow at St. Anne's. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
