Obituary of Thadeusz Wojnar

Thadeusz Wojnar of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 86 on June 9, 2006. Mr. Wojnar was born July 12, 1919 in Lowell, Massachusetts to Ted and Eorota Wojnar. He had served in the U. S. Army during World War II. On October 16, 1943 in Colorado Springs, CO. he married the love of his life, Viola. They lived in Lowell, Mass. before settling in Lodi in 1953. He had been employed for 30 years at General Mills before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and gambling, and he had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be so dearly missed. Mr. Wojnar is survived by his son, Ted Wojnar of Lodi; daughter, Cynthia (Dave) Sutherland of Sutter; five grandchildren, Kim, Jenny, Monica, Tabitha and Timothy and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Viola Wojnar on October 31, 2003. Services and committal for Mr. Wojnar were private.
