Obituary of Douglas Dollinger

Douglas Lloyd Dollinger of Modesto went to be with his Lord on June 19, 2006. He was born in Lodi on May 28, 1951 with Cerebral Palsy, but he never let his disability get him down. He was once honored as Consumer of the Year for the state of California. Doug was an inspiration to all who knew him. He is survived by his mother Viola Dollinger; his brothers and sisters-in-law Mark and Jill Dollinger and Scott and Michelle Dollinger; nieces and nephews Jim, Brian, and Katie Dollinger and Justin, Nathan, and Morgan Duckworth; and many cousins, uncles, and aunts. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Dollinger and his aunt Hertha French. A memorial service will be held in Doug's honor on Wednesday, June 21 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lodi. There is no visitation and committal is private.
