Obituary of Rose Wolf

Rose Wolf of Lodi passed away on June 20, 2006 at the age of 83 in Lodi. Mrs. Wolf was born on July 14, 1922 in Wooster, MA to Max and Clara Cohn. She married Irving Wolf on December 27, 1942 in Newark, NJ. They had lived in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. She had lived most of her life in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She worked as a child services administrator for twenty years. She moved to Lodi with her husband in 2005 from Florida. Mrs. Wolf had a great appreciation of the arts. She enjoyed painting and classical music, as well as mahjong, reading, bingo and puzzles. She recorded audio tapes for the blind. She supported the Allentown Symphonette and was a member of the Sisterhood, Kenneseth Israel. Mrs. Wolf is survived by her three children, James (Marilyn) Wolf of Acampo, CA, Mitchell (Monica) Wolf of Quincy, MA and Melissa (Scott) Himmelreich of Shillington, PA; four grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, John and Aimee and one great-grandson, Dylan. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Irving Jacob Wolf in February of 2006 and one son, Robert Wolf. Memorial remembrances may be made to charity of donor's choice. Services and committal were private.
