Obituary of Kenneth Wolf

Please share a memory of Kenneth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
In an attempt to convey a lifetime of love, honor and respect through several paragraphs, it is with great sadness and regret that the family and friends of Dr. Kenneth "Kenny" G. Wolf, 62, a life time resident of Lodi, CA, announce the death of a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, caretaker and friend on Thursday, June 22, 2006 in Stockton, CA. Our beloved Kenny was born December 14, 1943 in Lodi, CA to Charlie and Virginia Wolf. He attended Lodi High School, Delta College in Stockton, CA and Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. He married Marilyn Sullivan in 1965 and worked during his college breaks at Delta Cannery and John Deere factory before starting his chiropractic career in 1968 with Hayes Chiropractic in Lodi. Within four years, Kenny started his own practice, Wolf's Chiropractic Office, on the corner of Church and Lockeford. Kenny enjoyed playing basketball, golf, and cards with many of his childhood friends, all of whom will miss him dearly, as well as being an avid sports, carnival and horse racing authority, all of which were secondary to the responsibilities of growing his family and practice. As many knew him, it was Kenny's family commitments that he coveted the most. Whether it was always being available to his mother, Virginia, counseling his brothers, Charlie and Steven, watching his son, Steve, excel in college and professional baseball, or witnessing the birth of both his daughters', Karrie's and Kelly's, children, Kenny was the mainstay of his family and will be forever remembered as such. Often viewed by his patients, friends and family as one of the most compassionate and generous persons they'd ever met, Kenny had the unique ability to make anyone feel at home and at ease with his distinctive laugh, quick wit and good-natured personality. In 34 years of private practice, there was never a harvest season that Doc Wolf didn't receive a bounty of appreciation from many of his patients. His mother, Virginia, his wife, Marilyn, his brothers, Charlie and Steven and their families, his daughters, Karrie Walding and husband Mitchell, his son, Steven and wife, Kathy, his daughter, Kelly Broderick and husband, Sean, his grandchildren, Mitchell, Morgan, Taylor, Cooper, Chase, Cameron and Jorie, survive Kenny and will miss him dearly. His father, Charlie, preceded him in death and will be there to greet him in heaven, thanking him from all of us for a job well done. Friends are invited to visit on Monday, June 26th from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at The First United Methodist Church in Lodi. A reception will follow the services at Burgundy Hall on the Lodi Grape Festival fairgrounds. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in remembrance of Dr. Ken Wolf, U.C. Davis, M.I.N.D. Institute, Autism Research, 28225 50th St., Sacramento, CA 95817 or American Legion Baseball, Box 1600, Woodbridge, CA 95258
