Obituary of Tom Ereth

Thomas Ereth, Sr. of Lodi passed away unexpectedly at the age of 48 on July 4, 2006. Tom was born in Bismarck, N.D. on October 2, 1957 to Ludwig and Marvell Ereth. He moved to this area in 1962. He attended Lodi High School and went on to Delta College where he received a Certificate in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating. He worked at General Mills for ten years before he started his own business in electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration service. He enjoyed boating, motorcycling, spending time with friends and fundraising/catering with friends; however, family and the time that he spent with them was very precious to him. He had been past president of the Lodi Eagles. Tom is survived by his children, Starlene Santiago, Crystal Ereth, Samantha Ereth, and Thomas Ereth, Jr.; step-children, Anthony Ridley and Stacy Netherton; grandsons, Benjamin and Marcus; mother, Marvell Ereth of Lodi; brothers, Curtis Ereth of Lodi, William ( Lori) Ereth of Woodbridge, Steven Ereth of Thornton and sister, Julie Ramirez of Lodi. He was preceded in death by his father, Ludwig Ereth in 2005. Friends are invited to attend a service on Monday at Lodi Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Committal will immediately follow the service at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. There is no visitation.
