Fortunata C. Agbayani of Stockton passed away in Stockton on July 11, 2006 at the age of 81. Mrs. Agbayani was born in the Philippines on October 24, 1924 to Getulio and Maria Corpuz. She worked for many years as a seamstress. She came to the United States in 1992, first to Long Beach and then to Stockton in 1994. She loved to give and was a very generous person, enjoying her family and friends at family gatherings. She also enjoyed cooking. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, and she will be so dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Socorro Nuezca of Stockton; three grandchildren, Grace, Caroline and Raymond Nuezca; two great-grandchildren, Angelica and Laura; three sisters, Candida Caguntas of Stockton, Guillerma Aguilar of the Philippines and Feliciana Flaris of San Jose and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Agbayani and four brothers, Eugenio, Nicolas, Balbino and Ceferino Corpuz. Friends are invited to visit Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will immediately follow.
