Obituary of Derick Ryan Semone

Derick Ryan Semone of Sacramento and former resident of Ceres passed away unexpectedly Saturday July 29, 2006, in Eldorado Hills, California at the age of 23. Derick was born June 10, 1983 in Modesto, California to Daniel and Marchelle Semone. Derick worked as a Clerk for the Sacramento Superior Court House and had previously worked at Giovanni?s Pizza Parlor in Sacramento. Derick participated in Ceres Little League Baseball as well as Pop-Warner Football and Basketball. He was an avid sports fan and also had a passion for building and networking computers, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving son and brother, and also for his friendly smile, outgoing personality and great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his parents, Daniel Semone of Modesto; Marchelle Meyer and husband Chad of Sacramento; Fianc Linda Rith of Sacramento; 2 sisters, Kristin Semone of Elk Grove; Dana Hees of Nanaimo, B.C.; 2 brothers, Jason Semone of Modesto; Scott Meyer of Elk Grove; Grandmother Judy Luke of Hughson; Grandfather Bruce Meyer of Lodi. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Theresa Semone, Manuel Luke, and Glenace Meyer A chapel service will be held Friday August 4, 2006, 10:00am at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday 12:00-8:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Derick was devoted to his fianc Linda and had looked forward to starting their family.
