Obituary of Michael Sanguinetti

Michael J. Sanguinetti of Galt passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 10, 2006 in Galt at the age of 71. Mr. Sanguinetti was born in Stockton on November 6, 1934 to Angelo and Elsie Sanguinetti. He was raised and educated in Stockton and then attended USF in San Francisco where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. After he graduated, he worked as a stockbroker. He had moved to San Luis Obispo and later went to work in advertising for 3M for 20 years. When he retired, he moved to Galt where he has lived for the last fifteen years, to be near his family. He enjoyed playing golf, going to the gym daily, visiting with friends and walking his dog, Taffy. Mr. Sanguinetti is survived by his two daughters and son-in-laws, Marian and Jim Hamrick of Galt and Pam and David Baffoni also of Galt; four grandchildren, Brittany, Megan, Garrett and Julia; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sanguinetti and two nephews, Jeff and Mark Sanguinetti and families. He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Sanguinetti. Friends are invited to visit Wednesday at Lodi Funeral Home from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Committal will be private.
