Obituary of Addie Launa Truelock

Addie L. Truelock, a long-time resident of Lodi, passed away on September 11, 2006 at the age of 90 in Lodi. Mrs. Truelock was born in Murchison, Texas to Kirby and Lena Shavor. In addition to raising her family, she was a grocery checker at Payless Market in Lockeford for 15 years. Mrs. Truelock enjoyed going for walks, attending parties and get-togethers with her family and friends and in her younger days, traveling. She is survived by her son, James D. Truelock of Lodi; daughter, June Liddicoat of Vacaville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sister, Lea Mitchell of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Truelock, son, Donald R. Truelock and eight siblings. A chapel service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Napier of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Committal will immediately follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery. There is no visitation.
