Obituary of Emery Lally

Mr. Emery "Buzz" Lally, Jr. of Lodi and former resident of Stockton passed away Monday September 25, 2006 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 72. Mr. Lally was born July 15, 1934 in Stockton, California to Emery and Elizabeth Lally. Buzz owned and operated Leprechaun Farms and B&L Farms both in Stockton for many years before retiring in 1991. He attended and graduated from Stockton High School Class of 1952. He also attended the University of the Pacific, where he played football and along with his 1953 teammates were inducted into the Stockton Sports Hall of Fame. Buzz was a long time member of the Stockton Elk Lodge #218 and enjoyed golfing, skiing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends especially watching his grandchildren?s sporting events. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by 5 daughters, Candace Robards and husband Steve of Elk Grove; Kim Tetz and husband John of Lodi; Mel Venn and husband Tim of Modesto; Deb Byers and husband Tony of Placerville; Pam Harper and Husband Tom of Stockton; 1 brother Bart Lally of Stockton; ex-wife Diane Lally of Stockton; 13 grandchildren, Kris(Andrea), Ryan(Heather), Lisa, Natali, Russell, Ryan, Courtney, Dirk, Christie, Blake, Lacey, Candace, Shannon, and 1 great granddaughter, Kendell. A memorial service will be held Friday September 29, 2006, 11:00am at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by a private interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. .
