Dr Hoff knew me before I knew him, as he was the doctor who delivered me. I will always remember him as being a warm, loving and generous man, with a ready smile and an open heart. My thoughts and prayers to your family.
My heart goes out to the family of this great man who became in my book one of the finest and caring doctors I have ever met. I ran into him a few months ago at Walgreens Drug Store and he still knew me after all these years and I had only seen him a few times since the sixties when my children were born. We have known Helmuth Hoff for a very long time. It was just recently however, that we met at his home to find out how close we were related. Lorene you will always be in our prayers. We hope the friendship we found with you and Hap will still continue even though he has gone to a far better place. Sorry we could not attend the funeral, but we just returned from Germany last night and heard about the sudden death of a dear relative. Our love and prayers to the family.
