Beverly O. Booth of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 79 on October 4, 2006. Mrs. Booth was born in Fresno, California to Leo and Edythe Trigueiro on March 4, 1927. She grew up in the Sierras as the daughter of a forest ranger. She attended elementary school in Valley Springs and moved to Concord, California as a teenager, graduating from Mt. Diablo High School, class of 1945. She attended UCB. As her children were growing up, she was very active in their extracurricular activities. As they grew older, she enjoyed the arts and started her own custom framing business, The Frame Factory in Davis and Woodland. An excellent cook, she loved to share her culinary arts with friends and family and owned and managed the Bean Pot Restaurant in Rio Vista before going on to manage the Deli Department at several Save-Mart locations in Antioch and Pittsburg. She retired to Lodi in 1993 to care for her aging mother. She loved to cook and care for her home, garden, family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, camping and being in the outdoors. Mrs. Booth is survived by her three children, Margie Selser of Las Vegas, Kathleen Martin Booth of Florence, Italy and Peter Martin of Galt; three grandchildren, Curt Selser of Omaha, Chris Selser of Las Vegas and Wyatt Martin of Galt; aunt, Edna Pliler of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Martin and second husband, Donald Booth. Friends are invited to visit Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Chapel services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal is private. Memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204-1953.
