Obituary of Mitchell Paich

Mr. Mitchell Paich of Lodi and former resident of Antioch passed away Wednesday October 4, 2006 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 91. Mr. Paich was born October 5, 1915 in Portland, Oregon to Sam and Millie Paich. Mr. Paich worked as a Truck Driver for De Salva Trucking in Oakland for many years before retiring in 1983, and moving to Tower Park Resort. Mr. Paich was a member of the Western Conference of Teamsters Locak#355. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trips to and around Lake Pardee and spending time with his family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and also for his love of animals especially his cat Sally. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by loving wife of 47 years, Lita Paich of Lodi, 3 sons, Glenn Ridolfi of Patterson; Jack Paich of Valley Springs, Dennis Paich of Woodburn, Oregon; 3 daughters, Diane Norman of San Andreas, Patricia Terezis of Durham, North Carolina, Noreen Madrigal of Antioch; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother Jack Paich. A chapel service will be held Tuesday October 10, 2006, 2:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by a private interment. Visitation will be held Monday 12:00-8:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
