Obituary of Roland L. Reich

Roland L. Reich, a long-time resident of Lodi, passed away in Lodi on October 17, 2006 at the age of 76. Mr. Reich was born in Lodi, California on January 25, 1930 to John and Lydia Reich. He worked for the Department of Corrections, teaching, retiring after 19 years. He also retired as a Captain in the Army National Guard after 30 years of service. Mr. Reich farmed and had a masonry contracting business. He enjoyed traveling and playing cards. He coached Pop Warner football. He was a member of the Lodi Moose Lodge. Mr. Reich is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leona Reich, of Lockeford; two sons, John Reich of Lodi and Steve (Tammie) Reich of Lodi; two daughters, Fawn Kenney of Lodi and Vickie Lehman of Carson City; step-daughters, Brenda (Mike) Patterson of Lodi, Tammy Anagnos of Lodi and step-son Tom (Tammie) Boschee of Lodi; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Esther Brockney of Lodi and sister-in-law, Alice Reich of Sacramento. He was preceded in death by step-son, Jeff Boschee and four brothers, Fred, Albert and Charlie Reich and Willie Rott and three sisters, Christina Will, Ida Newquist and Martha Kachuck; first wife, LaVon Keszler. Friends are invited to visit at Lodi Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the service time. A chapel service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home with committal to immediately follow.
