Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Caple

Frances Elizabeth Caple, a long-time resident of Lodi, passed away in Lodi at the age of 94 on November 7, 2006. Mrs. Caple was born in Waxachie, Texas on August 9, 1912 to Joe and Ida Kuykendoll. She was a member of Harvest Worship Center in Lodi for many years. She loved volunteering at her church, active in Sunday School and the Ladies Group. She also enjoyed quilting, baking, gardening and embroidering. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Dragoo of Sacramento; 6 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and brother, Bill Kuykendoll of Santa Ana. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Caple; son, Orville "Al" Walker; daughter, Geneva Gaukel; two sisters, Mamie Keener and Edna Linker; two brothers, Silas and Paul Kuykendoll. Friends are invited to visit at Lodi Funeral Home on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Chapel services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal will be private. Memorial remembrances may be made to Alzheimer's Aid Society, 105 S. Washington, Lodi,CA 95240.
