Obituary of Paula S. Salas

Paula S. Salas of Victor passed away in Sacramento on December 6, 2006 at the age of 66. Mrs. Salas was born in Mexico on July 28, 1940 to Manuel and Elise Salazar. She came to California in 1965 after marrying Alberto Salas on December 19, 1964. They settled in Victor. She loved cooking, sewing and taking walks. She enjoyed visiting friends and socializing, but her life was all about her family and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be so dearly missed by her family and many friends. She was a member of St. Anne?s Catholic Church. Mrs. Salas is survived by her husband, Alberto Salas of Victor; two sons, Jose (Emily) Salas of French Camp and Mario (Karen) Salas of Anaheim; three grandchildren, Anthony, Alexander and Andrew; three sisters, Rosa Garcia of Texas, Carolina (Francisco) Montemayor of Mexico and Maria Salazar of Mexico. She was preceded in death by brother, Conception Salazar and three sisters, Julie Herrera, Carlotta Garcia and a very young sister many years ago. Friends are invited to visit Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Committal will immediately follow.
