Obituary of Bret Alan Clay

Mr. Bret Alan Clay life long resident of Lodi passed away unexpectedly Friday December 8, 2006 in his residence at the age of 47. Mr. Clay was born January 31, 1959 in Lodi, California to Nathan and Elnora Clay. Mr. Clay worked for Pacific Coast Producers in Lodi for the past 5 years. He previously worked for Dopaco California Inc. in Stockton. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, camping, working in his woodshop and repairing classics cars. He also shared the passion of riding classic Harley-Davidsons motorcycles. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father, son and brother. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Linda Clay of Lodi, 1 son Nathan Clay of Lodi, his mother, Elnora Clay of Lodi; 2 step-sons, Chris Bevall and Jeff Viannie of Lodi; a step-daughter Mary Viannie of Vacaville; 1 brother, Leland Fortner of Lodi; 1 sister, Marla Rainwater of Big Spring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Nathan Clay in 1998. A chapel service will be held Friday December 15, 2006, 10:00am at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery.
