Obituary of Ida Mae Olson

Ida Mae Olson of Clements, passed away in Lodi at the age of 84 on December 14, 2006. Mrs. Olson was born on June 3, 1922 to Jerry and Sally Biggs in Damon Mound, Texas. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and cooking, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She volunteered at Lodi Memorial Hospital for quite some time as a Pink Lady. She was a long-time member of the United Congregational Christian Church, the Garden Club, the White Apron Club and Woodbridge Golf and Country Club. Mrs. Olson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be so very missed. She is survived by her husband, Val Olson of Clements; two sons, Nicholas R. (Carol) Peart of Galt, Douglas Peart of Elk Grove; two step-daughters, Karen L. (Ronald) Berg of Clements and Kristine D. Mason of Clements; seven grandchildren, Dion M. Peart, Shawn Jacobs, Jason Peart, Nichole E. Blankenship, Todd W. Berg, Wesley E. Mason and Travis J. Mason; three great-grandchildren, Cassea, Kaylee and Jessica; one brother, Roy (DeeDee) Biggs of Willows. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Bert, Morris, J.R. and Ted and three sisters, Alberta, Rudy and Nellie. Friends are invited to visit Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the United Congregational Christian Church.
