Obituary of Dwight Williams

Dwight Williams of Lodi passed away in Lodi on December 16, 2006 at the age of 64. Mr. Williams was born in Vallejo, California to Clifford and Pauline Williams on August 29, 1942. He served in the United States Air Force from 1961-1965. He retired in March of 2003 from the County of San Joaquin where he worked as a real estate appraiser. He worked for the County of San Joaquin for 31 years. Mr. Williams was an Elder in the Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going on cruises, and he enjoyed being with his family, particularly his two grandchildren. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 37 years, Raylene Williams of Lodi; one daughter, Marie Lynn (Frank Lionel) Harris of Concord; one son, Robert Eugene Williams of Lodi; two grandchildren, Alixandra Vivian and Dylan Harris; mother and step-father, Pauline and James Johnson of Stockton; one sister, Deanna (Ed) Bailey of Auberry, California. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Williams. Friends are invited to visit Tuesday from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Committal will immediately follow. Memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA, 95204-1953.
