Rodney Harold Manning of Lodi passed away in Sacramento on December 14, 2006 at the age of 71. Mr. Manning was born in Portland, Oregon on May 31, 1935 to Kelly and Elaine Harr Manning. He came to California in the early 1970's. He lived in the Bay Area from 1975-1993. Before he retired, he worked in the Silicon Valley as a vice-president in financing in the semi-conductor industry. He enjoyed golfing, boating, hunting and fishing. Mr. Manning is survived by his son, Darin Manning of Sweethome, Oregon and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Manning and son, Scott Manning. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
