Obituary of Jackie Y. Vitale

Jacqueline Vitale of Lodi, California passed away of natural causes on Thursday, December 21, 2006. Born Jacqueline Yvonne Watts in Hinsdale, Illinois on July 14, 1928, she resided the majority of her life in Lodi as well as several years on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Her hobbies included church, golf, card games and numerous family related activities. She was preceded in death by her parents Burl and Vera Watts and daughter-in-law, Vicki Vitale. Jackie, as she was best known, is survived by a large loving family that includes her husband of 60 years, John Vitale of Lodi, two sisters, Bernice Wagner of Galt and Veradeene Glavich of Sacramento; her three children, Philip Vitale and John Vitale, Jr., of Lodi and daughter Cheryl Weigum of Stockton; six grandchildren, Jeff Vitale, Jason Vitale, Nick Vitale, all of Lodi; Philip Vitale, Jr., of San Francisco, Jackie Weigum of Lodi and Wayne Vitale of Redding, as well as two great-grandchildren, Christein and Adam Weigum of Lodi. Jackie will be truly missed and forever loved by her family and friends. There is no visitation, and committal will be private.
