Obituary of James "Jim" Hagan

Mr. James "Jim" Hagan of Lodi passed away Friday, January 19, 2007 in family residence at the age of 75. Mr. Hagan was born November 11, 1931 in El Paso, Texas to James and Maria Hagan. Jim was a Fireman Engineer for the Lodi Fire Dept. for many years before retiring in 1986. After his retirement Jim, moved to Clements to board and raise horses and breed German Shepherds. He was a member of American Legion Post# 22, Twain Hart Horseman Assoc. and the National Rifle Assoc. Jim was a proud United States Army 82nd Airborne and Korean War Veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman and avid hunter of ?Big Game.? He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. He is survive by 2 sons, Thomas Hagan of Granite Bay; Jesse Hagan of Fort Bragg; 1 daughter, Gloria Schmidt of Acampo; 1 brother, Henry Hagan of El Paso, Texas; 2 sisters, Yolanda Jimenez of Stafford, Arizona,; Alena Lance of Auburn; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded I n death by his loving wife of 42 years, Juanita Hagan in 1995. A memorial service will be held Tuesday January 23, 2007, 1:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
