Obituary of Colleen A. Mays

Colleen A. Frederick-Mays of Galt, 64, born in St. Paul, Minnesota, died Thursday, January 18th, 2007, at her home in Galt, California. Ms. Mays was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, always selflessly putting others before herself. She enjoyed taking care of her family and loved ones, always bringing smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts. She was a hard working and dedicated mother who gave everything to the "loves of her life", her children and granddaughters. She is survived by her son, Steve Mays; daughter and son-in-law, Desta and Jim Stenson; sister and brother-in-law, Rick and Tammy Gonsalves; granddaughters, Darian Stenson and Jacklyn Mays and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Harry and Allyne Frederick, bother Robert Frederick and sister, Jacklyn Woll. There will be a graveside service at Cherokee Memorial Park on Wednesday, January 31st at 2:00 p.m. There is no visitation.
