Leona Irene Bertsch was born December 12, 1922 in Venturia, North Dakota. She passed away February 12, 2007 in Lodi, California, she was 84. Mrs. Bertsch is survived by her children; Duane Bertsch of Lodi, Thomas Bertsch of Nebraska, and Gwendolyn Baker of South Carolina, brothers; Leonard Dockter of Lodi, and Elmer Dockter of North Dakota, sister; Violet Wolff of South Dakota, 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband August C. Bertsch in 1987. Friends may visit Wednesday from Noon until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., and are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday at 1 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave. Pastor Steve Newman of First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment at Cherokee Memorial Park will take place immediately following the service.
