Dear family, Brenda, Verlinda, Gloria I remember your mother with such fondness. She was always so kind to me as a little girl, and so generous. What a beautiful person. I wish I could have come to her funeral. When I saw her in the paper this week, it brought back all the wonderful times we had as children in our neighborhood on Daisy Avenue. I just wanted to let you know this world was a better place with Leona in it. Hoping for comfort and peace for all of you. Love, Karen

I knew Leona while growing up in Lodi. I was fortunate enough to enjoy post-service lunch with her at her home near Fairmont Church on occasion. Although not a member of the family she always treated me as one. We join friends and family in celebrating her life and offer our sincerest condolences to her loved ones.

Leona, was always so kind, loving and caring. I knew her for a short while, but visited her daily for at least 5 mo. Leona was across the hall from my Mom. She really loved her family. Our friendship will remain in my heart always. God bless her family, you were always there for her.
