Roy was such a gentleman, always kind and friendly. It was my pleasure to know him these past few years. We will miss his warm presence at Tokay Dialysis. He and Nellie are two of my favorite folks and it has been my privilege to know them. I will miss seeing Roy and want his family to know how much we appreciated this fine man.

I worked at Stockton Production Credit from 1969-1975, my first job out of school. Mr Mcphee was my manager and He made a great impression on me for the years to follow in my career. So sorry to hear of his loss. My love goes to Nellie and his family.

Roy hired me to work at Production Credit Association in 1982. I loved my job & working with Roy and all the people at PCA. We were like a family. Roy was a good man, a gentleman, a good businessman, and a family man. I remember picnics he and Nellie hosted at their ranch in Clements and the pasture in the Ione area. I worked with Roy until he retired in 1986. I will always remember Roy McPhee fondly & feel privileged to have known him. My sincere condolences to Nellie & all of the McPhee Family.

Uncle Roy reminded me so much of my own Grandfather, his brother Donald. He was always smiling and so much fun to be around. His stories were so entertaining as well as a learning experience. I loved having the opportunity to visit with him once a year at our McPhee reunions. The reunions were put together by he and Nellie. The work that they put into getting all of us together for a good time was incredible. I will miss Roy dearly and hope that we can continue to have our reunions in Roy's honor. I will keep Roy and his loved ones in my prayers. Love, Shannon

One of the earliest and fondest memories I have of Uncle Roy was once when he gave me a ride on his horse Queeny. I was little, and She was such a big horse that really scared me. He got me up there, and held me tight in front of him, and galloped up and down the field so very fast! I remember him being so strong and making me feel so safe. I have thought about that memory many times. He was always so calm and gentle, but I can remember going with him, Mary and Rita to herd cattle, I'd sit in the truck and watch and can remember him being very aggressive on the horse, turning on a dime and getting the cattle to go where he wanted. I was always impressed with him, and will miss him. Love to you all, Susie

It was with much sadness that I read of Roys passing. He truly was a great man and I truly appreciated all the help and assistance he gave me while I was working at PCA. We worked but we also had a lot of fun. It was a great place to work. I also appreciated Roy coming to My husband's (Ernie) funeral. I cannot believe that 9 years have passed since he and Art passed away. I am not able to attend the services but he will be in my heart and prayers. My condolences to all the family but especially to you Nellie. Love, Lena Vasconcellos

Seven years ago we decided to upgrade our herd. After talking with Roy, we bred our first cow to Esquire. Since then we have purchased three bulls and two pairs from McPhee Red Angus. We cannot look at our herd without thinking of the foundation built by Roy McPhee and family. May God grant you peace in this time of loss. Jerry, Lynette, and the DeYoung Family
