Obituary of Helen Adora

Mrs. Helen O. Adora of Galt and former resident of Terminous passed away Monday April 2, 2007 in a Lodi hospital at the age of 76. Mrs. Adora was born July 27, 1930 in Rancho Cucamonga, California to Frank and Mary Ornelas. Mrs. Adora was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. She was a dedicated wife and mother and enjoyed gardening, dancing, attending family gatherings and spending time with family and friends. She will be best remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul A. Adora of Galt; 2 sons, Paul Adora, Jr. of Tracy; Rudy Adora of Galt; 3 daughters, Dorothy Zuniga of Galt; Lucy Garcia and husband John of Lodi; Christina Shah and husband Jesse of Galt; 6 brothers, Arcencio, Albert, Art, Richard, Ernie and Edmond Ornelas; 3 sisters, Tomacita Ornelas, Linda Ramos and Rita Hunter, 16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Frank, Larry and Danny Ornelas, 4 sisters, Ruby, Adelina, Angelina and Martha Ornelas. A church service will be held Tuesday April 10, 2007, 10:00am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. A rosary will be held Monday 7:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday 12:00-8:00pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
