Jimmie Wayne Turner, 77, of Lodi died on April 12, 2007. He was born on April 4, 1930 in Oklahoma. He moved to California at a young age. He worked at sugar mills and M & T Ranch in Walnut Grove for 26 years until his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, bingo, gardening, watching car racing and his animals. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Turner of Lodi; daughters, Freda Arreola of Texas, Patricia (Sadaqat) Ali, Kayla and Rose Turner, all of Lodi; sons, Lee Burns, Danny Edwards of Lodi; stepson, Claude (Nanci) Edwards of Texas; sisters, Lavada "Sissy" Forrster of Lodi, Alma "Peggy" Wilson of Oklahoma; brothers, Tommy Turner of Lodi and Ulice "Toppy" (Karen) Turner of Woodbridge; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; one son, Daryl Turner and one daughter, Victoria (Vicky) Fair. Friends are invited to visit Tuesday from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. There will be a graveside service at Galt-Arno Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
